From 'Wolf and Lamb"
The carriage shakes, jolting you from thoughts, the giant outside is dead and the soldiers are screaming curses at… Wolves? You smell blood and ashes causing you to gaze out the window.
A man in the armor of black, face covered by black cloth with white fur as hair, sword running through the commander of this group with the other soldiers staring as if in shock. The wolves growled and howled.
Everyone is distracted… Everyone is not focused on you!
You glance at the door then at battle then the door again. It will be hard to run away dressed the way you are, a bride white and pure, but you will risk it. The door, though locked, is fragile as you position yourself on the floor and kick it open with both feet, pulling up your dress as you quickly escape. The breeze never felt so amazing it causes you to smile; you make quick work or bunch up your gown, tying it to expose a bit your leg so you can, hopefully, escape. The battle still is going on when you peek around the carriage, two soldiers left.
You bolt past the opposite direction you were being taken.
"Get her!"
You curse in your head as they realize you are making a run for it. A sharp whistle echoes as you keep running, fumbling, to getaway. Damn, the corset of the gown makes it hard to breathe, you push on nonetheless.
"Don't shoot her! Lord Godrick will kill us if she is harmed, you fool!" You barely dodge an arrow past your head.
But that is the least of your worries as a strange-looking horse is suddenly beside you keeping up the pace. The armored man in black is reaching out his hand. You run away from him too frightened beyond your wits and you will not foolishly trust a stranger.
"Damn it." You swear you hear him say as he adjusts to both you and the soldiers running after you. His clawed gauntlets snatched you up with no effort. You freak out immediately, kicking and screaming, this man had so easily grabbed you as if you were a sack of potatoes.
He grunts as he adjusts his hold while clicking his tongue. The speed is intense, and by the Goddess, you hope if you fall it is a quick death.
"Calm yourself, girl." You stop only because his claws are ripping into your corset and your skin. He moves you to sit in front of him, tall and big and a whole lot scary.
You are shaking like a leaf, his armor is cold and wet from the current weather. The mist from the rain and gathering fog aid in the escape.
